When George Stille started Air Overseas two decades ago,
he brought to his company the experience gained in executive
positions and management consulting assignments with major airlines
and the world's leading aircraft builder, The Boeing Company.
His original purpose was to serve as consultant to foreign carriers eager to
increase their U.S. market share.
But when submitting marketing plans to client airlines,
he was asked to implement them!
In the process of responding to this unexpected challenge,
George discovered he had to tranform Air Overseas from a consultant to a
full service airline representative, wholesaler, and consolidator.
This required focusing his attention on the airlines' clients,
rather than on the airlines as clients.
The logical next step was to re-invent Air Overseas into a travel agency.
This occured in 1986.
As such, Air Overseas has benefitted from its founder's close relationship with
distinguished European carriers and his professional skills in identifying and
satisfying passengers' needs and preferences.
